About the festival

Returning to Cape Town on 2 January 2027, WAV Festival's second edition continues to redefine R&B through an African lens, curated by TMG (creators of Afro Nation) and Africa Creative Agency (ACA), bringing together the most exciting voices in R&B, soul, and alternative music against Cape Town's iconic coastline at Green Track Point — building on a debut that featured Mariah The Scientist and Kelvin Momo, and continuing WAV's mission to bridge continents and celebrate African and diasporic creativity.
