Hadra Trance Festival 2026 takes place August 27 to 30 at Plan d’Eau de Vieure in Allier, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, central France, on a 25-hectare lakeside site. The beating heart of the French psytrance scene and entering its 17th edition, Hadra is organized by a non-profit association dedicated to promoting “Utopies Éphémères” (Ephemeral Utopias) with a 2026 theme of “aligning with the sun.” This four-day event features an impressive lineup across 72 hours of non-stop music on multiple stages: Main Stage (psytrance, progressive, and forest with massive canopy designs and high-definition VJing), Paradoxe Stage (techno, drum ‘n’ bass, hi-tech, and world music), Bubble/La Bulle (downtempo, ambient, and psy-chill healing zone), and Cocoon (intimate electro-acoustic live performances and experimental sounds). Hadra offers extensive cultural programming including workshops, conferences, digital art, the “Allée des Utopies” featuring ecology-focused artisans and social justice initiatives, and dedicated accessibility facilities with Handi-Pass for people with disabilities. Tickets sell out quickly due to strictly limited capacity of 8,000 to 10,000 people to preserve the lake environment, with camping included and shuttles running from Moulins or Montluçon SNCF train stations to the venue.
