Africa’s Grandest Gathering returns for its 24th edition with an exciting new format – the “Month of the Mother City.” Rather than the traditional single weekend, the 2027 edition expands into a month-long, city-wide celebration taking place throughout March. Festival activities will span several iconic locations across Cape Town and surrounds, with additional venues to be announced, featuring a mix of live performances, cultural activations, educational initiatives, and community-focused experiences.
