Bundu Karoo, taking place 5-7 February 2027, at the Place of Dreams in the heart of the Karoo, is an intimate desert music and dance festival centered around minimalism and natural immersion, attracting a few hundred attendees typically aged 30 and over. The event features a main stage called The Canyon equipped with KV2 audio and a curated lineup of DJs, offering an outdoor electronic music experience in the vast Karoo landscape. Anchored at POD 1, Bundu Karoo combines desert camping with nighttime musical performances, creating a retreat-style festival focused on electronic music, community, and the stark beauty of South Africa’s semi-arid interior.
