Vibe Tribe was a distinguished music project spearheaded by Russian-born Israeli producer Stas Marnyanski. Born on 23 March 1985, Stas commenced his journey into the realm of electronic music at the young age of 13. He was immensely talented and quickly made his mark in the music industry, which led to a successful and illustrious professional career.
Originally founded in 2003 by Stas Marnyanski and Elmar Ivatarov, Vibe Tribe started as a duo. However, Elmar later chose to pursue a solo venture, leaving Stas at the forefront of Vibe Tribe. The music produced under this label is primarily characterized by a more intense Full On style, which is a robust subgenre within Psy-Trance that originated in Israel. This genre deftly amalgamates influences from Hard Trance, Hard House, and Psy-Trance, all of which are distinctly noticeable in Vibe Tribe’s musical creations.
Vibe Tribe’s debut album, “Melodrama,” was released in 2004 under Utopia Records, showcasing a unique driving sound intertwined with mesmerizing melodies. Their success continued with their second album, “Wise Cracks,” in 2006, which coincided with their rising popularity, making them a sought-after DJ act at major Psy-Trance festivals. “Destination Unknown” was their third studio album, unveiled in 2009 under Com.Pact Records. The release of this album was postponed due to their rigorous touring schedule.
Throughout his career, Stas Marnyanski, under the Vibe Tribe label, created a ripple in the music world with standout tracks that have been featured on compilations by renowned record labels, such as Utopia Records, Neurobiotic Records, Mainstage Records, and HOMmega Records. One of his tracks that particularly gained widespread attention was the remix of Infected Mushroom’s “Shakawkaw.” Over the years, Vibe Tribe’s music witnessed an electro infusion, with Stas also collaborating with other prominent psy-trance acts like Skazi, Spade, and Bizarre Contact. An interesting collaboration with Bizarre Contact led to the creation of the “Bizarre Tribe.”
Regrettably, Stas Marnyanski’s life was cut short when he passed away on 30 October 2022 due to a heart attack at the age of 37. However, his indelible mark in the music world, through Vibe Tribe, continues to inspire and captivate audiences globally. Even though Stas did not release an album after 2009, he remained active in the industry, both as a skilled producer and a dynamic DJ, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.
