Rocking the Daisies, one of South Africa’s longest-running music and lifestyle festivals, will not take place in 2026. The organisers, Steyn Entertainment, confirmed the cancellation in an official statement posted to the festival’s Instagram account, just months before the event was due to return to Cloof Wine Estate in Darling from October 2-4.

Sizigia Eclipse 2026 festival, planned for the shores of the La Sotonera reservoir in Huesca province, will not receive the environmental authorization it needs before its scheduled dates, after Aragón’s environmental agency, INAGA, ordered the project into a lengthier “ordinary” impact assessment that cannot be completed in time.
