If there is anything I’ve learnt over the years from these parties, it is that Cape Town loves their Sunday session. With yet another fun-filled weekend dancing underneath the stars and trees just outside of Cape Town, it was Jungala Festival 2012‘s Sunday morning in particular which has since left me in awe for days. 8am struck, the sun was shining and the crowd was waking up, Up-Psy-Down had just finished their banging 1 and a half hour set and  Mad Piper was about to start. What came next fell nothing short of amazing…

Mad Piper‘s live set brought my legs back to life, a pleasure to my ears, and a grin to my face so large that it would even put Baraka from Mortal Combat to shame. His fresh sound which is relatively new to the Cape Town scene is something that I admire, and hope to hear more of in the future. If you do not believe me, then you either weren’t there to witness the magic, or you haven’t listened to his Promo Mix yet. If that’s the case, then I strongly suggest you stop wasting time, scroll down, press play, and listen to this killer and complete live set which he thankfully recorded over the weekend.
