Progressive Psytrance is another broad term that emerged out of Europe in the early 2000s that represents a slower style of psychedelic music (in the 132 – 140 bpm range).
Some artists like Ace Ventura, Liquid Soul and Protonica still represent this style of progressive psytrance music.
However, artists like Vini Vici and Berg who incorporate tribal sounds are also considered progressive psytrance. Furthermore, artists like Audiomatic and Neelix are Hamburg-style progressive music which incorporates its signature off-beat kick drum.
Today progressive psytrance has even managed to be showcased at large electronic music festivals like Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland.
