Airbnb partners with SweepSouth cleaning company

As South African president Cyril Ramaphosa announced the move to Level 2 of lockdown last week, many accommodation hosts are excited to be up-and-running again.

For peace of mind, Airbnb have partnered with SweepSouth, South Africa’s largest on-demand cleaning company, to increase sanitation efforts between visits from guests.

As per regulations, home-sharing properties are only allowed to have 50-perfect of available floor space in a property, as well as the 1 and a half metre social distancing rule.

To make things easier, Airbnb hosts can now order SweepSouth cleaning services directly from inside the application or website. A clean will be scheduled and you can be assured all your cleaning duties will be taken care of.

Sweepsouth offers high-quality cleaning and provide much needed work for their fleet of staff members (home cleaners, gardeners and more).

The long-awaited reopening of South Africa’s hospitality industry comes with unique challenges that SweepSouth has been preparing for months. In addition to providing dedicated sanitisation and hospitality protocols training for SweepStars, our online platform has been upgraded to make booking a dedicated option for Airbnb hosts. Guests can now make Airbnb bookings, safe in the knowledge that accommodation serviced by our SweepStars meets with the highest international hospitality cleaning best practice standards.
